From sensor to dashboard.

We bridge the gap between sensor and decision.

Zero46 is a software, IoT and cloud consulting agency in Malmö, Sweden. We help utilities, healthcare, industry, and the public sector design, build, and run connected systems — sensors, data platforms, and dashboards — without the vendor lock-in.

What we do.
And what we don't.

We don't sell software or resell licences. We build and run connected systems with your team, then hand them back. Most projects touch two or three of these.

Pick the right stack for the next five years, not the next demo. Vendor-neutral, auditable, yours to keep.

been useful.

We work where uptime matters and data means something. These are the sectors we've shipped to more than once.

One platform. Every team.

We're building a sensor platform for a Swedish municipality. One system, many teams: indoor climate, alarms, air quality, energy. Same data, different questions.

How we work.
In four stages.

Every project runs the same four stages. Each one has a clear output, a set price, and a named end — so you always know where the money goes.

One plant.
Every machine.

A precision manufacturer runs hundreds of sensors across four teams — each with different PLCs, vendors, and formats. We built one platform that pulls it all together, with a focused view for each team.

From my desk
to yours.

Zero46 is a small IoT consulting agency based in Malmö. Here's the short version from the person running it.

Poya Shad, founder of Zero46
founder · engineer · malmö

Eight years of shipping meter fleets, alarm systems, and data platforms shaped how Zero46 works. Small, senior team — the person you meet is the person who builds it, and they stay on the project from first call to handover. You won't talk to a salesperson, and you won't be passed to whoever happens to be free.

If it needs to survive production, I'd like to hear about it.

Common
first questions.

Short answers. Ask if yours isn't here.

We work in four named stages — Discover, Design, Build, Operate. Each has a clear output, a set price, and a named end. Most projects run 3–9 months end to end.
No. Our advice isn't tied to a vendor quota. If you're on AWS, Azure, or on-prem already, we work inside it.
Discover is fixed at €42k for two weeks. After that we scope in clear chunks, each with a set price. No surprise invoices.
Senior engineers, hands-on. You won't talk to a salesperson, and you won't be reassigned to whoever happens to be free mid-project. The team has shipped production IoT for Waltero, Careium, Axians, PRYM.io, and is now running a sensor platform for a Swedish municipality. The person on your first call is one of the people writing the code.
Based in Malmö, Sweden. We work across the EU and UK, on-site when it helps, remote when it doesn't.
You keep the code, the documentation, and the know-how. We offer light support afterwards if you want it.
// 07 — start

30 min first.
Two hours if it fits.

Book a 30-minute call — tell us what you're building. If there's a fit, we follow with a two-hour working session: architecture sketch, honest scope, no invoice.
